Arizona is Celebrating 100 Years of Statehood

Arizona will be celebrating 100 years of statehood on February 14, 1912, and between now and then, a wide variety of special events are planned to mark the occasion. Arizona became the 48th state of the United States when its statehood was proclaimed by U.S. President William Howard Taft on February 14, 1912.
